Our Mission
At Restore Together, we recognise the ongoing grassroots environmental action happening throughout the UK as communities are stepping up to restore our depleted landscapes and seascapes.
Here, we celebrate the successes of community led nature restoration journeys by sharing inspiring stories and highlighting the impact they've had on the environment and the community.
Why are we doing it?
Community-focused nature restoration has the power to make a real difference on so many levels. It can boost local economies, inspire children and families to spend more time outdoors, enhance wildlife, and promote physical and mental well-being.
However, believing in the potential for significant positive change can be challenging, especially when you haven't witnessed it elsewhere. This is precisely why we spotlight stories of community-led restoration – to ignite the imagination of other communities, inspiring them to envision the possibilities within their local landscapes. Through conversations with key figures from thriving community environmental groups, our aim is to foster a space where guidance and invaluable tips can be readily shared with anyone seeking inspiration.
